Opposed calipers have advantages such as lower drag torque and no uneven wear of the pads because the main body rigidity can be set higher than that of stamped calipers. Monocoque calipers are monoblock structured and made using precision die casting. They can be installed with just a bolt-on without any processing, and can be used with front and rear brake distribution and ABS.
In addition, the pads used are the same shape and size as the genuine S2000 (45022-AP1-000) and the rotor size is 300mm and rotor thickness is up to 26mm.
