Description:
This rare and charming set of five amber-colored highball glasses by Vifsa features an elegant etched & gold colored wheat leaves pattern, indicative of mid-20th-century design. Originally, the set included six glasses, but one is missing. Each glass is crafted with care, but does have imperfections in the glass, reflecting the vintage aesthetic of the era. Each glass measures 6.5″ tall, 2.25″ at rim and 2′ at the bottom.
The original box is included and showcases a young woman in a bikini holding a glass, consistent with the MCM era, with other assorted glasses on the table in front of her. The back of the box is stamped with “HUMO 1,” possibly indicating a batch or model number. Interestingly, the glasses pictured on the box differ from those inside, adding a unique touch to this vintage find.
