The Cairn distillery might not be ready to release its single malts right now, but its blended malts are a preview of what’s to come. The distillery created a series of blends to mirror the flavours of the malt that is currently patiently resting in casks, waiting to be ready to bottle.
The 12 year old is part of their core range. It has a sweet palate, hints of pepper, and candied undertones. 12 year old Blended malt whisky from Cairn Distillery.

Nose: Red apples, cinnamon and cloves. Orange marmalade and roasted walnuts.
Palate: Raspberry, apple and a touch of pepper. Sweet and Spicy, along with tangy chocolate orange.
Finish: Fruity with spicy oak.
