It provides children with opportunities to practice saying and identifying the -ed ending, e in one- and two-syllable words, ph as /f/, ck as /k/, syllable division, and other phonetic principles. Each skill has 5 to 8 practice pages, including activities that focus on phonemic awareness, encoding, decoding, and short decodable stories. The workbooks can be used with any phonics or core program as additional practice. Workbook 4 is designed for Grades 1-2 and contains 74 non-reproducible pages, softcover.
