White flowers give way to chamomile, vanilla bean and young peach as the 2022 Chardonnay Sol slowly blossoms in the glass. It opens with a balanced inner sweetness and an elegant textural wave of pure silk, complicated by flinty minerals that saturate as citrus-tinge orchard fruits cascade across the palate. Spicy and intense, the 2022 finishes dramatically long and tactile in feel with a crunchy sensation as the resonance of lemon custard slowly fades.
