John Paul, the irrepressible owner and winemaker emeritus, founded the winery in 1984. He is still farming and making wine here at one of Oregon’s most intriguing and exciting wineries. A true evangelist of terroir and staunch advocate for dry farming. Abbey Ridge is an estate site planted over 45 years ago. Complex aromatics of violets, dark cherry, earth, and game, it delivers strength and richness beyond what is typical for Abbey Ridge.
