GORGEOUS Vintage Polish Designer Ornate Silver Metal & Butterscotch Amber Ring

BEAUTIFUL vintage Polish designer hand-crafted ornate silver metal and butterscotch amber ring, size 6 1/2, sizable. This is a particularly lovely, beautifully crafted amber ring. The silver work is truly gorgeous with exceptional wire work including textured spirals, dimensional floral elements, scallops, etc. The butterscotch amber cabochon measures 21 mm by 11 mm and has lovely color and depth. I was very surprised when I tested this ring and discovered that it was not sterling silver. It is so well made and has such a wonderful, intricate design, that I fully expected the setting to be crafted in silver. Despite this, the metal is beautiful, bright silver and has not oxidized. This is a really lovely ring and it is in remarkably good condition for its age with no damage other than, perhaps, very minor surface wear. It is not signed, but comes from an estate where all of the amber jewelry appears to have come from several vintage Polish designers. Frankly, this ring was my favorite piece from the estate.
